1:Sorting problem 2:cdj2000nxs question about scrolling and selecting a track

hello everyone.

ive got 2 things id like to get some help:

1) im running the latest version of rekordbox 2.0.3 on my macbook pro.

i sort my playlists by comments,cause my tracks are analyzed with Mixed In Key so i see on top tracks from 12A and going to bottom to 1A.

I think since the last update of rekordbox, whenever i transfer a playlist from my rekordbox to my sd card, the tracks are NOT getting in the right sorting order from the comments.

noticed on both cdj2000 and cdj2000nxs.

any idea?

cause i didnt change a thing!

FUNNY notice,previous playlists(1 month or 2 months old) are still sorted right in both rekordbox and cdj2000 and cdj2000nxs.

2) on the cdj2000nxs im scolling down a playlist.when i push the scroll button inside to choose a track,im redirected from the playlist to the actual track i chose,see the waveform etc... while on the cdj2000 when you choose a track while you are on the playlist you can still see all the playlist and move up or down to another track if you wish. any idea if this can happen somehow on the cdj2000nxs too?

1) the default show on the 2000 playlist is "number order" in the left hand column of RB, so click on the comments column at the top in the order you want, then right click on the column and "renumber track order", then the default sort is now in number order based on you comments column

2) I agree, wish there was a way to have the deck not always go to the wave after I load a track, but 99% of the times I want the wave so it hasnt been a big deal for me personally

another question though, do i have to do this process now EVERYTIME i add a new track to this playlist??

yes because when you add tracks its added in number order so the new track will be the largest number, and show up at the bottom of the playlist on the cdj

keep in mind though on the cdj once you get into the playlist, you can hit "menu" then "sort" and select "comments" so it sorts it in comments order, either way will work

yes but why i think that this didnt happen before and whatever i added it was just finding its way without me having to do all this?

and also... my oldest playlists, when i see them in the cdj2000nxs start from 12A and go till 1A and now they start from 10A,they go to 11A,12A, and then 2A 3A till 9A ....

not sure, I do know that's how it is though because I have to do the same thing. if I add new tracks i obviously want them in alphabetical order on the player when I hit the playlist BUT it's not, I have to "renumber" after I add the tracks. it's 2 clicks of the mouse so I never considered a big deal

i hate that 10,11,12,2,3,4 instead of 12,11,10,9,8 etc....

there's gotta be a way! cause my old playlists are still shown the proper way(12,11,10,9,8) on the cdj2000 and cdj2000nxs and not on the way i hate it(10,11,12,2,3,4).

FOUND IT!!!!!!

All you gotta do is import from iTunes!!!!!!! thats the only way it can read from 12A till 1A :):)!!!!!!!!
