Playlist export issue with 2.0.3.4

Hi guys,

I've had Rekordbox 2.0.3 for almost three months with no major problems. This week, however, I tried to export my playlist to a USB device, and the process just hangs without writing to the device.

**Provide as much detail of the issue here
*:

I recently purchased some new tracks from beatport.  I created a new playlist, and attempted to export it.  The files move over to the USB device without problem, but when I select "File->Export Playlist Information" the process simply hangs.  After a while I get a message saying that Rekordbox is no longer responding.

This was all working up until about a week ago.  I even tried removing the new playlist, but so far no luck.

What can I do?  What more information can I provide to help you diagnose the issue?

Is there a way that I can enable logging to see where the process fails?

Hi guys,

Not to be a pain, but I do have a gig tomorrow night, and I'd like to try and get this resolved before then if I can.  I am very technical, so if there is anything additional I can do to assist, I am happy to investigate.

Further note is that I tried even exporting my playlist information (via XML) to my C drive, and that also hangs, so it does not appear to be related to the USB flash drive I'm using.  I scanned my flash drive for problems, and found none.

Hey guys,

Upon review, I should update the following:

4) Using LINK: Yes

** 4a) LINK Connection method*: N/A

*
4b) Using with CDJs**: Yes, CDJ 2000 Nexus

I use Link between my two CDJ 2000 Nexus', but I do not connect my laptop via Link to my CDJ's.  Rather, I export my songs and playlist info to a USB drive, and pop that into my CDJs, which are then linked.

To give you further information, when I select "File->Export Playlist Information" I am prompted to select a file name, and location to export my file to.  In the past, I could specify the file name, and then open the directory in Windows explorer and hit F5 and watch the file grow in size as Rekordbox wrote to it.

Now I do not see the file written after I start the process.  It seems as if the process is choking before a file is even created and written to the file system.Again, any help in diagnosing this would be greatly appreciated.  Can I enable logging, or some kind of diagnostic mode to help assess where the problem is?

I'm going to try connecting my laptop directly via link to my CDJs tonight to see if that is an option for tomorrow night.

Okay...so it turns out I am very stupid.  I thought that my beat grid information was dependent on File->Export Playlist Information.  Turns out it is not.  I still can't use the feature at the moment, but I can export my playlists and when I put the USB flash drive into my CDJs, I can play my playlist with all of their beat grid information.

Sorry for the confusion, and such.

@James > Can you update to 2.0.7 please. It became available today and fixes an issue that likely caused your problem to occur.

Here some additional infos. RB only crashes while exporting playlist information with the entire beat grid information. If I only export playlist information or with BMP change points the export run smoothly.
