[CLOSED] when will Pioneer add "Spectrum Waveform" like Traktor?

I'll start this off by saying that I LOVE TRAKTOR .. i began my DJing career almost 3 years ago on a Traktor Kontrol S2 w/Traktor 2 Pro .. i learned all my fundamentals on these things and still cherish how far they've taken me.. recently, i've purchased a new DJ hardware suite.. 2x CDJ-2000 Nexus + 1x DJM-900 Nexus.. i now exclusively DJ on the CDJ's display, using USB stick alone ..

i feel like i have to do so much extra mapping work to see EXACTLY where the song finally drops off, than I had to do when I had Traktor's "Spectrum" Waveform setting on..

all i'm asking, is can you guys please consider adding a few different waveform options? it's a MASSIVE tool that is severely being under-utilized.. i urge you to implement this option

i'm not sure i agree lud, it's really easy to see changes in the music structure in the current waveform.

not sure what all this extra mapping you're trying to do is exactly, but if you really need additional visual reference to a certain point in a track them just cue up that point in the track and hit the 'memory' button to set a marker. you can do this straight from the deck and this will give you both a visual marker on the waveform and a countdown to this point on the cdj display. it couldn't be easier!

the point that i'm making is that i can look at the Spectrum alone, and determine exactly how the song's going to progress in my head.. when it's bright i can tell that there's a kick drum going hard, and when it fades out, i can see exactly where the changes that i imagine in my head are going on, great transitions, hugely helpful..

and i'd rather not disrespect the CDJ's by using them in HID mode..

stfu, it's just easier to make more DYNAMIC changes in your set when you can quickly count and measure the in and out points of two tracks, on the fly, with much more precision..

urbanbeat, your post is not helpful, obviously inflamatory and off topic.

Adding spectral coloring to the waveform is very useful in track prep, especially when setting loop points and hot cues for samples, etc.  It would save time with scrubbing to the correct point in a track.  No big deal for a few tracks, but with my sets getting to 50-60 tracks I've noticed the time on task really adds up so this is a boon to workflow when I want to 'chop a sample with that one phrase containing that hi-hat with the killer accent and the trail off effect.'  I have a 'thing' for it, LOL...
