I understand your concern :-). Due to this reason, I didn't use 'update collection' so far :-). It might be nice to show the 'changes' blinking before accepting (or discarding)? (for people who don't want this: we can have an 'accept all changes' or 'discard all changes').

making track changes visible
Hello,
If you work a lot with the text editor " word" than you maybe know the option "track changes". This function makes it visible what you (or other people) change in a text after a certain point: what you add and delete are shown in an other color than the standard color (mostly black).
When I export songs with rekordbox to a usb stick and play on the djm, after a couple of hours/days, I don"t remember what cue points/loops I changed since I tend to use the same stick for a couple of weeks. But I know that some changes will be good, others will be bad.
Maybe it would be a nice option, when you click on a song and click on "update collection" when you come back to rekordbox, that the cue points that have been added/changed can blink or so? Would that be possible? So that we visually can see what will happen when we click update collection.
Just my 2 cents of making the "update collection" function a little bit more transparent so that we don't make changes we don't want to make...
