Hi Everyone,

4) Using LINK: Yes

4a) LINK Connection method: DJM2000 V 3.2

5c) With what utility did you format the device:NA

6) Have you scanned your files for errors: NA

7) Have you scanned your drive for errors: NA

8) Is Rekordbox crashing at all: No

8a) If crashing, is it resulting in: NA

8b) If not crashing, are there any error messages: No

9) Are you able to repeat / reproduce the problem: Yes

9a) If yes, can you do it consistently: Yes

10) Any other notes regarding your setup only:

Provide as much detail of the issue here:

So I have 2 x CDJ2000NXS plugged directly in to the mixer with lan cables, I also use a Win7 laptop with Rekordbox 2.2.3 which also plugs in to the DJM2000.

This has worked fine for months, but now it will not work at all, the link option never appears in rekordbox and no packets are received on the lan connection properties, I have tried:

1.) rebooting everything

2.) DJM2000 factory reset

3.) New LAN cables

4.) A totally different PC

5.) Turning off all firewalls and AV on the PC's

6.) A 10/100/100 switch

7.) Different lan ports on the mixer

But it will not connect, the problem seems to be obtaining an IP address from the mixer, the two CDJ's can speak to the mixer ok and they sync properly. But no PC will. If I look in network properties on the PC I see packets being sent but 0 are ever received from the mixer.

As a test I added a wireless router which then handles DHCP and the whole setup works, but I don't really want to use this all the time and it was working fine without it for months before, I have even tried reapplying the V3.2 firmware but it still doesnt work. As far as I can tell nothing has changed, no firmware updates etc since this was last working. This is really strange any ideas?

Have you recently updated rekordbox or applied a Windows update patch which might have affected security or your network card? Each version of rekordbox will require that you allow that new instance through the firewall.

Yes I recently went to 2.2.3 I noticed the link did seem a little more flakey after that but it has worked fine a couple of times. I always apply windows updates so it could be that but I did look through the updates for the last month and couldn't see anything that looked like it might affect it.

I think this is probably down to a Windows update of some kind and a bug/problem in the way the DJM2000 handles DHCP/addressing as both laptops I have tried can get a DHCP fine from other networks.

But I cant find a recent Windows update that may be causing it.

Ok, I tried another Win 7 X64 laptop which hasn't been used/updated for about 2 months.

This laptop worked ok, so it is defiantly some sort of Win update/DJM2000 issue.

A quick update, this is still happening even with Rekordbox 3.0 so fat I have tried 2 different laptops and 1 PC same result. But they all work fine with the router in the mix.
