You say it's not the firewall or hub, have you tried changing the ethernet cables?
My Player Icons are randomly disappearing while playing tracks via rekordbox.
The players still communicate because I can browse my CDJs file menu to select tracks to play from rekordbox,
I just can't drag & drop them onto the players.
On latest firmwares, and no - it's not my LAN hub or firewall, or anything else non-Pioneer related!
I think it's about time a new 2000NXS firmware became available which actually DID a fix - same with RB.

What I have noticed is that my WiFi may have something to do with it.
One icon (either player 1 or 2) with vanish after a period of time.
I have disabled my WiFi a few times and just left rekordbox open for an hour or so to test and both player icons remain.
The second I enable WiFi again, one will vanish.
Why does this conflict happen and how come I can still browse and play tracks even without the icon?
This problem also happened to me last weekend.
The RB just lost connection to all CDJ.
I was unable to make a reconnection. Turning off wifi, swap cables, restart compuador (macbook pro), fixed IP, firewall off, nothing brought the connection. That is, I was left with the LINK RB.
All these problems started to occur after upgrading to version 2.2.4. Even going back to version 2.2.3 problems persist now.
The connection is reestablished randomly.
