I have an SSD in my MacBook and it's still slow and laggy. Pioneer need to pull their finger out.

My Rekordbox has become very slow and laggy when attempting to scroll my collection and playlists.

@Fuse > How many tracks are in your collection?
2513 tracks.
All WAV or AIFF.
MacBook Pro 17" Early 2009
Core2Duo 2.66 GHz
8 GB RAM
SSD drive
experiencing a lot more lag and I'm having crashes A LOT since installing mac 10.10.1 from fresh formatted drive.
Using the latest rekordbox. around 750 tracks in my collection
The software is noticably running slower especially when running the 2 player preview mode. This version of Rekordbox was much more responsive and it was stable on my last OS which was 10.6.8
At one point the wave displays have started flickering whenever I played a track... until it crashed again
I have copied the crash log so if you'd like I can send it over via email? I'm going to try reinstalling Rekordbox
I haven't performed a usb sync yet since updating to yosemite..... should I be concerned?
MacBook Pro
2.7 GHz Intel Core i7

Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB
So is the lag due to the size of my library?
Im having the same problems. A response for pioneer would be great!!
@Pulse I've got 21,000 tracks in my library. I would gladly trim it down if this fixed the issues. Would it help? Rekordbox consumes at least 60% of my CPU whenever it is open. Usually more if I am using it to prepare my set (set cue points, etc...). Thanks guys!
On a whim I just switched to the "Simple Player" view mode. This cut CPU usage by 75% and virtually eliminated my lag issues. Unfortunately, this view obscures almost all of the DJ related functions. I can still set memory cues and hot cues via keyboard shortcuts, but I can't verify that my beat grid is correct.
