[OPEN] Location of files for Rekordbox

Hi everybody, could anyone tell me where the files for rekordbox are supposed to be located? Think I'm having an issue with missing/wrongly placed files after I migrated to a new Macbook with Yosemite from Snow Leopard.

Also, my itunes isn't bridging properly, and only showing old playlists and no new ones I create, could anybody shed some light on this?

Thanks in advance

As noted in the ** rekordbox Read-Me,** the default location for the rekordbox files on Mac is: /Users/yourusername/Library/Pioneer/rekordbox

If you have moved from another version of 10.x to 10.10, you're likely having problems with missing files thanks to iTunes and how things were changed there. If your files are okay within iTunes, you should have access to them over the bridge. Verify the correct location of your iTunes library within the rekordbox settings.

Pulse, thanks for your help.

Just gotten down to OSX Lion and restored my library file. Bridge still unfortunately isn't working. Any ideas?

@pulse I now have changed Itunes library xml name, and bridge is showing music and loading them.

However I now receive a message saying "rekordbox could not create the analysis file in the folder specified"

And bridge isn;t showing any new itunes playlists I create.

Sounds like there may be a spaghetti pile going on!

First, run the permission repair by going to Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility then select your internal hard drive (the right-most entry for it), and click "Repair Disk Permissions."

See if that helps -- if not, please go into rekordbox and tell me what the folder locations are for the "PIONEER" folder (on the Analysis tab) and the iTunes Library file (on the Bridge tab).
