Pioneer doesn't officially support 10.10 yet so any issues arising from using rekordbox on that platform will go without support for the time being. Thanks for your patience!
Hello,
I am testing Rekordbox in OS X 10.10 and version 2.2.4 is running without issues. Version 3 though starts up and works, but is very slow.
Just to let you know...
PS: I officially test OS X 10.10, so it is on a legal version.. :-)
Kind Regards,
Kris

Pulse: Is it being at least worked on by the engineers to work natively with 10.10? I am imagine there is vast base of your Rekordbox users that are on mac's like yourself, that will want to jump on to 10.10 the day it comes out. Pretty much gives Pioneer at least over 2 month to have a stable version ready for deployment.
Might be useful to get ahead of the game for once and not be chasing fixes
Indeed, Apple provides the software exactly for reasons like these. Pioneer can actually test the compatibility with Rekordbox and does not need to wait for a few months on the official release to see that it doesn't work smoothly. In a few months a lot of users will upgrade to OS X 10.10, no doubt about that :-)
+1 :)
Sorry, AFAIK Pioneer does not work on beta versions of the OSs. Historically, they have created version-specific drivers and software AFTER the public release of any OS.
Wait, Pioneer does not work on beta versions of an OS??? One of the HUGE reasons of having beta periods is so that software developers can thoroughly test their software to make sure they have day one compatibility.
We've come across many a situation that makes Pioneer look like complete chumps over the years, but that statement has to be one of the worst. Can you imagine what would happen if Adobe's position was "we don't work on beta versions"?!?!?!
From what I'm told, Pioneer does test their stuff prior to public release of an operating system, however due to possible changes and last minute updates at the time of public release, they wait until AFTER the public release is out and then verify that their software and drivers function properly before issuing any updates or certification statements.
The path issue has been worked out with RB 3.0.3 :)
Great! Any idea when it will be released to the public? This will be a HUGH fix when the path issue is solved!... :-)
I think he meant 3.0.2, there is no 3.0.3 and 3.0.2 is out to the public already.
Obviously I meant 3.0.2 ! Sorry! :-)
