[SOLVED] Rekordbox crash only on second screen win8.1

Everything is working as it should be, no crash problems at all, on my main monitor screen, when i put rekordbox on the secondary monitor and work a bit around (for example, last crash came when i change the view from 1 player to 2 and then to playlist view, etc), then in crashes with message: unexpected error.

My system is:

win 8.1 x64 enterprise

i7 3770, 16gb ram, AMD Radeon HD 5870 with latest drivers, latest rekordbox of-course, all win updates done.

I repeat, i don't have any other stability problems with my system, or any other program on my first or second screen.

Pulse if you need any other info let me know :)

@tasos > Engineers weren't able to replicate the issue - could you send the crash log when rekordbox crashed?

The folder below may have the crash log.

C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\Pioneer\rekordbox\Crashes

The engineers investigated the crash log and found an access violation in a display-related library, atigktxx.dll. This may cause the crash of rekordbox.

They feel the video card or driver (AMD Radeon HD 5870) does not seem to be compatible with Windows 8.1.  This crash may related with the compatibility between OS and display card.

Sorry!

Oh, well i'm sorry for that. I didn't install any driver which is not compatible... And this makes me wonder, because i get that crash only on rekordbox, anyway it's not a big thing, i'm working with rekordbox only on my main screen.

Yeah, sorry, I'm not sure about the compatibility - just reporting what the engineers find! I know sometimes manufacturers suggest compatibility but as with Pioneer products, not all scenarios are tested and some lingering issues can pop-up. At least it works on the primary display!
