Where within rekordbox are you viewing the albums?
Hi. I have a pair of XDJ 1000's.
When I export my collection to a USB, everything is replicated perfectly on the XDJ.
But if I plug my MacBook in to the pro dj link, and choose "RekordBox" on the XDJ, this is where things go wrong.
My albums are sorted correctly, but the tracks within the albums are a mess. They are not sorted as Track 1, 2, 3, 4. More like Track 8, 2, 3, 6, 1....
I've Tried:
-Press "Menu" > "Sort by: Album"
Nothing fixes it.
My tracks are correctly labelled within RB (I've given each track in each album a track number (usually 1 - 10)).
I hope I can get some help. Thank you.

@Pulse...
If I am on my MacBook, and I am browsing in the "Collection" tab, everything is fine. Tracks are ordered my Track Number within Albums all expected (Album 1A, Track 1, Track 2....), but when I connect my laptop to the link, and choose RekordBox on my XDJ's, the tracks are all messed up even if I choose 'Sort by... Default or Album'
@Jack > The Album sort should get you the view you're looking for, what about it is messed-up?
You could also try this ... not the optimal solution, but make a new playlist, add some tracks (I believe the max is 1000), then sort them by album (click on that column header), then right-click in the column header and select "Renumber Track Order" and it will maintain that order.
Thanks Pulse. Please see the video I've attached.
@Pulse ->When on Link, even if I choose to order tracks (in an album) by Album, they are still not ordered with their corresponding track number.
I'll try what you said.
As I mentioned, and it's shown in the video, USB is fine.
To reiterate, If I conect to link, and if I choose to sort tracks by Default or Album, they are not listed as Track 1, Track 2, Track 3.... In the video I show an album "40B". When browsing my USB, they are ordered correctly as they are in RekordBox on my laptop. But then I switch to link, and they are not ordered by Track 1, 2, 3... the order is messed up. I also try selecting "Sort by... Album & Default". Both give the same problem.
So watching the video, I think I understand what's happening -- the album (in rekordbox) is sorted by track number, but you have the album on the CDJ sorting by the track name (default). Sorting it by Album does nothing because it's already the "album" and you only have one album visible.
If you have your files numbered per the album order, you could simply add the "filename" sort option to your menu and use that?
Thanks for your response Pulse. I appreciate this help.
I don't see an option in preferences to sort by filename (see attached).
If I am on USB, and choose "Sort by: Default", it sorts by track number, but this is not the case when I am on link. I don't understand how that happens as they are from the same collection, same files, same tracks, same settings.
Thank you.
Sorry - Filename is within the Category option, not Sort (was going from memory!)
I suppose you could use a tag editor to batch-edit the track comments and plunk the track number into the comments field, at least then you could sort by comments...
