Good afternoon to all, forst of all, sorry for my English!!
I want to ask a thing i can't understand. I use a XDJ-AERO in combination with a REKORDBOX software for android Platform.
Rekordbox is able to browse the USB dongle connected to XDJ-AERO (i don't have any tunes on my anrdoid phone) browse options are set when i export to USB under "my settings". I Always prefer to use the browsing in playlist mode for the ability to sync with my Itunes playlist automatically. When i browse my playlist, i can't find a way to reorder playlist like "bpm" or "tracks" or "artist" i set the "options" alla active but no way to sort playlist during my GIG.
Is a limitation of XDJ-AERO / rekordbox? Or there is a way to do the trick?

Another thing, it would be great if in a next release you'll give a people 1 choices:
1 - Export cover art? YES/NO
Because browsing is not so intelligent, it load in sequence: TITLE / COVER / ARTIST
So we have to wait more and more seconds to see the artist, or just switch the order of view in screen, ARTIST/TITLE and cover for last thing.
It could be an idea?
@Jacopo > I'm not familiar with the rekordbox mobile app for Android but would assume it to work similarly to the iOS version. The ability to sort relies primarily on your addition of certain fields to the sort options of the USB device itself through rekordbox...
Insert your USB drive with rekordbox loaded, click on the device icon on the left. Next, click the Sort tab and you'll see this:
Select items from the left and click the -> button to move them to the active list. Once you have ejected your USB drive and put it back into the AERO, those options should then become available via the rekordbox mobile app.
Regarding the album art, I'm not sure if I understand what the reasoning is, are you having troubles loading the artwork? Is it simply too slow?
Thanks Pulse for your answer. But i add all the sort options in USB dongle and in rekordbox mobile, but when i click "load" and start to browse a playlist or gernre or tracks, i can't find the button to make this sort options visible....
I'am looking for buy a brand new XDJ-RX, a little question for you...does rekordbox mobile has the ability to browse USB dongle connected to XDJ-RX (like AERO) or only can export from android to XDJ-RX? Thanks!!!
I seem to recall now that the AERO doesn't have the same sorting powers that some of the other players possess, so that's the likely culprit. You would have to use one of the primary display modes rather than sorting.
As for the RX and rekordbox mobile, I haven't tested that yet and don't know the answer for you.
