[SOLVED] Limitations in amount of songs in collection with RB3?

I've got a collections of over 30.000 songs in RB (they're analysed).

In RB 3 loading of a single songs takes over 30 seconds

but: when i click in the picture column the skipping through a song is good and quick

In previous versions loading was and stil is quick.

i als removed the database to test with just 1500 songs: the loading then is quick and solid!

so i think there must be a relations to the total number of songs and the loading of a track.

Any idea to improve that performance?

being you have a large library also like I do, how many playlists do you have, I am having another issue I was hoping you could test being you have 30k+ tracks also

On Mac, I have no issues loading and playing, your issue maybe be just Windows related, hopefully Pioneer can get to the bottom of it quick

awesome thank you

First i selected ALL 30k of my tracks and export to my external drive, the issue I am having (and others) is I then go into sync manager, select all my playlists to sync and they sync fine BUT after that every time I go back into sync manager and sync it sits at "checking playlists" for about 1.5 minutes before the actual syncing kicks in. 2.2.4 never did this, it was lightning fast at checking and then syncing

thanks for anything you can check out

I attached a video too, you can see the drive is plugged in and reads tracks and then sits at checking playlists for one monte, I make a small change, go into sync manger to update this change which should take all of 2 seconds but when i click on the arrow to sync, again, it sits at checking playlists for another full minute, sometimes longer

Sooooooo i think a small gnome or somethning like that was in mijn laptop because the loading now is at normal speed.

I think it was doing some analysing on my collection (perhaps it was that i ticked the write to id3 settings)

@ BriChi : same with me, it takes about 1 or 1,5 minutes to check the collections. The actual synchronisations goes fast after adding 1 que point.

Okay - I'll mark this one as solved and we'll continue on in the other thread to deal with the sync issue.
