problems between rekordbox and cdj 850

hi everybody, i'm using rekordbox 3.2.1. with 2 cdj's 850. 2 problems :

1) when i play a track on the cdj from a playlist created with rekordbox and i use the jog wheel (on vinyl mode) at the start of the track, it goes automatically to the  track before ( there is no "time" gap between one song and onother one, and it happens only with playlists!! )

2) to solve the first problem, i could play tracks using category " genre", but when i enter it shows before artist and then album ,and, at the end, the track. I'm wondering if there's a way, when i browse " genre" on the cdj, to remove artist,album and directly see the track.

Thanks.

leo

@leo > 1) This is normal.

2) No, the browsing has been set-up to go through those selections first and unfortunately it can no be changed.

Sorry if i disturb again. A second problem has showed up. I use a pendrive (Sandisk) usb 3.0 formatted on fat32. To avoid any problems, Yesterday i bought another identical one but, after formatting it on fat32 and transfering my tracks with rekordbox, when i insert it on the cdj ,an error appears :** library is not responding.  **I tryed to format it many times but still the same. What am i supposed to do?? thanks

What is the model of that pendrive?

How did you format the drive (what tool or operating system utility was used to format)?

model is sandisk ultra 3.0 16 gb ( the other one purchased a month ago, identical, works perfectly)

i'm using windows 8 and i formatted it by going in the menu, selecting the pen drive andclicking right button on the mouse and selecting "format" option....format on fat32( as the other one).

thanks

Unfortunately that drive isn't exactly what I'd consider to be a "performance" model and may have an inexpensive memory control chip. I say this just looking at the specifications for the transfer speeds. While they are fast enough for the CDJ (which uses USB2.0), it's the control chip which could be an issue.

Either way, I'll pass this to the engineers for investigation.

The engineers have noted that this particular USB drive may not perform as expected when used in conjunction with Pioneer products, and recommend trying a different brand USB drive.

Good morning, yes, i actually bought a Sony pen drive (16 Gb) and it works! thank you for your kindness, i can definitely say that i never experienced a customer care as efficient as the one of Pioneer. You give back what the customer pays.
