how to properly export my playlists in rekord box to USB

ok. i am pretty new to rekord box. but i have been getting all tracks organised for a gig tomorrow. things are going well, organising hot cue markers etc, quantize etc. very intuitive to use.

so now im right clicking on my playlist folders and exporting each to USB to use on CDJ. ( taking special care each folder has the 'allow to autoload hotcue' ticked)

theres about 8 folders in all.

so now they are copied across i look at the 'contents' folder on the USB stick and its a mess! i can only pressume it wont look like this on the cdj??? i dont have one to check if it views ok.

if this is how it will look then what is the point of organising your playlists if it will look like that. for example to access one track on the usb stick, i go through multiple folders to get to one track.

i have attached what the folder looks like on the usb stick for reference.

any ideas how to make the folders on a cdj look exactly as your playlists do within rekord box?

Hi Steve, That's just the way OSX organsises the files. The best way of checking the folder layout is opening the usb within Rekordbox. Via Device Manager.
