Rekordbox 3.0 not reading some .WAV files

I just added about 70 new tracks to my collection, they were mostly .WAV files and Rekordbox 3.0 is failing to load or analyze them throwing the error "Can't load Track: File format not supported"  The tracks look to all be the product of Platinum Notes standard 16bit 44.1khz wav. But they are not being accepted.

However I've left Version 2.2.4 loaded on the same machine as a backup, and it loads plays and analyzes the same files without issues.

Did the format requirements change in between versions?

I have uploaded one of the wav files in question if someone would like to look at it.

continuing to tinker with this, strangely if I open the file with the issue in wavepad sound editor, and then re-save it, chosing to re-save it over itself in with the CD audio preset (16bit 44.1khz) the file will then work.  It still show sas an incompatible file until I delete the file from the collection and re-import it, now it shows up fine. I'll test at home with the gear after work to make sure it works.
