[OPEN] DDJ-T1, No output via Headphones!

Hi,

I just purchased the DDJ-T1 and I love it,  BUT I cannot get output via the headphones to work. I did check the Output routing settings and I have the monitor sound set to "DDJ-T1 PHONES L" "DDJ-T1 PHONES R" while the master is set to "DDJ-T1 MASTER L" "DDJ-T1 MASTER R". I also unconnected/reconnected all cables, tried the 1/4" and 1/8" headphones jacks in the front, uninstalled/reinstalled all drivers and traktor itself so I am lost as to solving this. I have updated Traktor, the DDJ-T1 and related drivers to their most recent versions. Also my laptop and DDJ controller are plugged into the wall. I have browsed all the forums and google searched this for a few hours and still nothing else is working.

Did you have any of the cue buttons selected and/or the volume turned up on the headphone monitor knob on the controller?

Same problem here - just bought the DDJ but already had a newer version of Traktor installed.

Tried everything in volume knobs and cue buttons but still no sound comes out of the headphones - very frustrating...

.. did the Pioneer ASIO drivers working right in Traktor ?

The Pioneer device has to Work in ASIO mode Only !!! if the Shared mode is Enabled, traktor can not Route the Headphones Corectly !

please check  in Preferencys -> Audio Setup!

I have the same issue with my headphones... Thing is I don't have my controller connected to the wall, just to the computer with USB, can that be the problem??  I use external speakers... Also, I would like to know what kind of charger I need to connect it to the wall, amperage and stuff...

@carlos > Its likely some misconfiguration in your settings. Have you tried to adjust your audio settings in Traktor?

I have the same problem headphones have no output audio so I am unable to beatmatch my tracks making it very difficult to make anything sound good. Frustrating since ive spent a considerable ammount of money adding this unit to my collection. I have messed around with audio settings via traktor 2 and It says asio is not connected im guessing this is the problem as ive read into phones connection only working through that and not the shared mode, how can I resolve this problem?

Hello Everyone,

Same problem I'm affraid! Updated to 2.6.6 and guess what - No Headphone output!! Gone through all the checks - Now when I hit Setup Wizard it drops me out of the DDJ-T1 Audio Device, then only has the DDJ-T1 in WASAPI (shared Mode). No sign of DDJ-T1 in ASIO in any menu. I'm on Win8 which is not helping!!

Getting rather feed up of no response from Native Instruments or Pioneer on this issue...

Any real people out there got any suggestions - I would like to dedicate my next podcast to the lucky persons who can solve this problem...

Cheers - DJ Monty

I am also having the same problems. Does anybody reckon that it's certain settings or just the headphone plug not working?

It's simply your configuration within the software; please check your audio config within Traktor.

I no longer have a DDJ-T1 in my possession to make a walk-thru, but here's what it looks like with a DDJ-WeGO connected and you should have similar routing:

If I recall, the T1 doesn't list the outputs the same way (labelling each as headphone and master), but you need to be sure that you have it set to INTERNAL mixer mode and that the outputs are assigned correctly for each of the master and monitor.

That picture is a complete waste! I checked mine and its perfect! Not one thing out of place! The song is playing in the channel but the controller doesnt read that the song is the master track, no sound through the head phones either! Seriously getting annoyed!¬ I've an important gig friday and i need to be ready by wednesday like!!!!

yo guys, i have ddj2 for 2 years now, it worked find, after couple of months i had a party at my house and i turned my controller back again and started mixing, but there was nothing coming out from the headphones, so I've checked everything again, volume, cue, preferences, all good. Ive moved the cable it self of the headphones and it started working again, after couple of weeks it didn't worked at all, non of the holes my ddjt1 had, non of them worked so can't hear my cue now, how can i get it fixed or repair it somewhere? i need it fixed…….

@mantas have you check the headphone connection like the wire or plug. Because now a days people use wireless headphones. You can check the wireless headphones they might work for you.
