DDJ ERGO native HID support
Would HID support/mapping be possible only with software/driver/firmware update or is it a hardware related capability?

I was thinking of traktor. HID is a far more reliable and faster protocol. It could eliminate lattency lags and is by far more responsive than MIDI. So is HID capability up to the hardware or it is something that could be enabled just by a firmware or a driver update from pioneer? The question stands for all the ddj models

HID is used for advanced bi-directional communication between the computer and the device. The DDJ controllers don't really have any need or benefit in using HID vs. the current MIDI design.
