DDJ-T1/Traktor 2.5: SYNC/MASTER not lit on Remix Decks C & D

Hi,

After years feeling sorry for selling my old Technics turntables and equipment I got myself a DDJ-T1 and I'm very pleased with it. Like the spacy layout and 4 decks. Especially the remix decks that came with Traktor 2.5. I also bought the full version of Traktor 2.5 for the advanced effects.

However, when using the TSI v1.01 the four decks work perfectly as track decks. With the TSI v1.02 configuration all works fine with the two remix decks. Except for the lights on the SYNC and MASTER on remix decks C & D. On the screen the indicator is lit but on the DDJ-T1 the lights stay off. Lights for CUE, FX1 and FX2 are working fine and in track mode (with TSI v1.01) they work as well.

Just wanted to know if this is a bug or a feature? ;)

If you're going to use decks C & D as track decks or re-mix decks don't use the  TSI files as 2.5 natively support the DDJ-T1.    I believe however the TSI files are still useful if you plan to use C & D as the old style sample decks.

The TSi supplied with Traktor 2.5 (or update 2.5.1) does only contain dummy data. Filesize of each TSI is 1kB. When loading this TSI, none of the options is available, see attached image. Only for the DDJ-ERGO is a fully configured TSI included.

I will use the new Remix Decks, not the old Sample Decks. Perhaps in the near future I will add one or two NI F1's. I had the chance to play with one for a few minutes and I love it.

Correct - REMIX decks are not yet supported on anything other than the F1; you can either use traditional decks or sample decks.

Okay, point taken. ;)

I've copied the mappings for SYNC and MASTER on Deck A and reconfigured them for Deck C & D. Works like charm. Now trying to remap the keyboard to support 4x4 keys (1/2/3/4 Q/W/E/R A/S/D/F and Z/X/C/V) plus shift functions. Just upto the moment the F1 budget is available. ;)

Thanks for your feedback.
