Thanks so much for your feedback -- I too am a DDJ-S1 user for weddings and I love it, but a DDJ-SX just landed on my desk today and I'm excited about getting this thing out to a gig soon!

100 Weddings with DDJS1
What can I say? The DDJS1 has been superb. I use a macbook pro 13inch. I have never had a problem. I can even download songs on itunes live while i'm playing at a wedding without missing a beat. This comes in handy when the father of the bride comes up and ask for "his" first dance song from the 60's that I just don't have. I've been a dj for 23 years now and of course I started with turntables. I play at and manage a night club in Santa Barbara but the boss let's me do my weddings. I play at 45+ weddings a year. I still own the serato turntable setup but the DDJS1 has been my system of choice for so many reasons. It's fun again to dj. I also have been playing music videos for 15 years and serato's video software has been great. I play videos all the time and have never had a crash. I still bring a back up computer but have never needed it. After 100 weddings and about 30 parties with the DDJS1 I had to say something. Thank you Pioneer and Serato!!!

It's awesome - just a couple of early-version bugs (like no continuous-play mode) but there's a lot to love about it, especially when paired with the SX!
