Jus got my Odyssey case, good fit and design.
@Bishop > Did this error occur on firmware 1.02?
this is the same problem im having now how do you ground the unit ? and why the left side jog wheel only affecting it ?.
im currently using the odyssey case. same problem no change to jog wheel.
I think the ground wire inside maybe loose or missing on the left jog wheel.
I dont think it is a problem... Depending on what surface you are on, you need to adjust the "TOUCH LEVEL SENSOR"
I already try evertyhing but only when you touch the unit then it will work same as deejaybishop.
also if i have a gig i have to know if my ddjsx will work on that venue ? make no sense.
BTW my ddjsx is always on the case, so that surface is permanent.
I solved the platter issue by just removing the ddjsx back cover and let it open for 5 minutes then close it and the left jog wheel will go back to normal.
I dont know why maybe moisture issue inside.
Pioneer tech please explain & solve this problem.
BTW it happen 4 times so far but fix it just opening it.
I had this happen and Found it to be a issue with the USB cable provided with the DDJ SX . I had no trouble since I changed the USB cable. Also was picking up interference when powering up and off the power . Both problems were resolved by simply changing the USB cable .
@djaj > I've no idea why that is. This isn't a technical support forum.
@Rene > Thanks for that information.
Rene that's great ! i change my usb 4 different brand no luck. but for now i have no problem with my ddjsx it run perfect ever since.
@ Gavin no worry its ok i just carry power screw driver just for safety.
@djaj > great stuff, thanks for the update!
Is everyone else in this thread happy that their issue has been resolved?
DAMN!!! funny as it may seem I still to have grounding issues .my DDJ SX is doing it again . I have to touch the top of the console for vinyl mode to work . If its a grounding issue is it the platters are the whole unit are the wall wart plug
@Rene > The jogs work on a capacitive touch design, much like how a touchscreen works. If you are in a high-static environment or you move the unit from home to gig, you will likely need to adjust it on a regular basis. Simply adjust the setting knobs all the way to either end and then dial them in so the jog stops when your hand is ON the platter, but not when it's ABOVE the platter.
