[CLOSED] PIONEER DDJ-SZ!

OMG! I am in love! Almost perfect controller!!! There are rumors of this accepting timecode. I can't find any source confirming this, and the Pioneer website only has the basic manual uploaded. Any word? Either way, I'm sold.

Looks pretty nice! Now if they could do something like the xdj aero & r1. With display screen on it. No need for laptop. Am sold!

I just don't get it, they push the RB software yet everything they release is for serato, lol

Serato pays them the big bucks! I think. Lol. Am still waiting for them to make a pro xdj areo and r1. Hope to see that soon.

I really hope they come out with an rekordbox USB plug in with no need to use laptop. Same as the xdj aero and r1. With the same display as the cdj 2000 and cdj 900 nexus. That right there I will buy. I know it's on the works. Just waiting! With the new SZ being out. I know it will be on the works one day

"The new DDJ-SZ completes our range of Serato performance controllers, it's the 4th AND FINAL unit in this professional DDJ-S range."

I wouldn't expect anything new for quite some time

Hi all.

Does anyone know if the sound cards in this new ddj-sz are more closely related in sound quality to that of the ddj-sx or the djm900 nexs? I currently own both units and there is absolutely no comparison when you A B them side by side.

Since this is a standalone mixer, will you be able to cue up (pre-listen) through the headphones the software effects or just the hardware efx?

@Jammin > The DDJ-SZ fully supports DVS on Serato DJ.

@Viking > Considering its the big daddy to the SX, you can be sure the soundcards are every bit as good if not better.

@Alex > There are cues on each individual channel and the master only.

Someone knows if the DDJ-SX mic problem was solved in this model?

I have one DDJ-SX and the mic (Samson Q7) sound is still horrible, even with the latest firmware.

may require you to send it in for a hardware change also, I believe all that was documented that if the FW doesn't fix it it needs to be sent in

The mic issue was resolved on the SX, it is not present on this unit. There is no worldwide warranty on any PioneerDJ unit. Local warranty only.
