DDj-SX Deck 2/4 lights issue

Hello,

Had my DDJ-SX for about 1 month now and I am noticing that Deck 2/4 is not functioning the same as 1/3. All the indicator lights on deck 2 are always on and the light underneath the Hot Cue button is constantly flickering.

Deck 1 has non of these issues, both decks work fine but I am concerned why the lights would seem to be shorting out? If this happened to a Hot Cue lights then this would be very bad!

Does anyone have any ideas, It is still in warranty but as of May 8th I will be working abroad so need this with me all that time.

Lets see what we get :)

@Harry > Sorry for not finding this issue until @Toby posted...

Are all other functions of the controls operating normally? I'm not quite sure I follow the issue with the illumination. Can you post a video?

I've tried all logical steps as in power down disconnected all cables etc. it even does it without laptop connected.

@Toby > Are you able to try it without the DC adaptor and see if it still does that? The power supply could be faulty and thus causing the LEDs to flicker.

Don't think it's the power supply. I was wrong it doesn't do it with laptop disconnected it's also fine in set up mode.

It seems to happen whilst running serato dj. I've updated firmware and reloaded drivers. It only happens on deck 2 and not all the while. It seems better if I turn on controller then start serato. Oh and if I have laptop powered on but not running serato then power up the controller all lights seem fine no flickering. Bizarre

@Toby > That is indeed a weird behaviour; please contact technical support (links are at the right) to have the unit serviced.

Make sure the channel switches on the front of the controller are set to PC.
