Few controllers are physically constructed in a way which suits the new features in VDJ8.
Mappings have been made by VDJ owners for the ns7, mc6000, and Hercules steel.
Limited support is offered by many built in VDJ8 mappings. These mappings do not include effects, sampling, and navigation.
New controllers are required which have been designed specifically to work with VDJ8. It is very nice software whose future will be determined by the controller manufacturers.
VDJ7.4.1 has a excellent sound engine, and is very stable, as is Serato, and Traktor.
