[SOLVED] Cue point cannot be removed - wego3 w djay2 for iPad

Hi, It is not possible to remove the cue point when once set, using WeGO3 w djay2 for iPad. How can this be resolved? BR /Jonas

You always have at least one cue point (the main cue point), which can be re-set anywhere you like. Simply play the track, pause it where you want it (or use the jog to adjust the position), then press CUE and it will set the main cue to that location.

If you are looking to clear a hot cue, simply press and hold the SHIFT button while pressing the hot cue button for the cue you'd like to remove.

Thanks for the clear explanations!

Perhaps the feature to clear the main cue point could be a request for the next firmware release?

Unfortunately much of that has to do with the software, but at the same time, all of Pioneer's controllers and players work the same way in terms of their controls, and I don't expect that they would make the operation of one unit different than the others. A key to Pioneer's design and function is the ability for a user to change equipment and know exactly how it's going to work based on experience.

It seems one can only set a new cue AFTER the current one, not BEFORE. Am I missing something perhaps?

What do you mean you can't set one before the current one? You can always rewind the track to set the cue point anywhere you want.

On the gear and with the software I have - Wego3 and djay2 for iPad - I cannot get it to rewind and set the cue point. It only works to set the cue point after the current one. Or am I missing something very basic trying to do this?

Ah, exploring different buttons ad hoc AND now and then I succeed in rewinding and setting the new cue point! :-) Do not yet understand the principle though. Hm.
