DDJ-SX2 Sampler Volume Problem

About a month ago something happened where the sampler volume now goes with the master volume knob instead of the sampler volume slide. Whenever I am playing at a club, I obviously have my master about halfway up so you can barely hear the samples. If I turn it up all the way, you can hear them just fine, but thats no a feasible option when playing at a club. It's almost like the sampler goes with the beat of the music too because when I look at the volume on the software, it bounces with the beat of the music whereas before it was controlled by my sampler volume slide. I am using Serato and could not find anything within it to fix the issue, so I must've accidentally pushed something on my deck to change a setting. Is there anyway to reset the deck back to factory settings or does anyone know a way where I can get the sampler volume slide to control the volume again rather than the sampler going with the master volume?

Future thanks!

@Will > Do you use any MIDI devices along with the SX2?

When you move the sampler volume fader, does the SP-6 volume indicator move?

Which version of Serato DJ are you running and what is the firmware version of the SX2?

No. The SP-6 volume indicator will go up and down with the beat of the music. Only when I turn my main master up am I ever able to hear my samples. It's almost like a setting got changed where the volume of the sample goes along with the master on the deck. I believe I am running 1.6 on serato.

I just bought a DDJ-SX2 and I notice my sampler volume is REALLY LOUD. WAY louder than deck 1 and 2. I know you can adjust each volume separately on the SP-6, but is there a way to have the default sampler volume lower? I mean, it is night & day louder.

@Mike > I adjust the volume within the software so that the channels (which have a gain control; the sampler does not) and the sampler are the same volume when the fader is at the top.

Pulse, when you say that you adjust the volume within the software, do you mean each volume control on each element in the sampler?

OK, that's what I was doing too (if I'm understand you correctly). I just don't like having to adjust each volume on each sample. Oh well, not a big deal. I can live with it.
