Get the cdj 2000 bud.there super decks.Pioneer cdj are big money but you get what you pay for .the v7 looks cool but they don't have half of the stuff the cdj 2000 do.also pioneer last forever.numark not so long
Hey guys,
I'm in the market for a new setup and I've been trying to compare and contrast the CDJ 2000's with the Numark V7's and haven't really come to any sure conclusion. I've been working with TRAKTOR for a while so I think that it could be easier to go from my current setup to a CDJ setup but the V7's also look appealing and would be significantly less expensive. If someone would help me make the comparison and inevitably the decision the help would be greatly appreciated!

@Sarge Kinlin > Sorry but we can't discuss competitor products on these forums.
However, I will tell you (as well as many others here on the forums) why you should get the CDJ-2000's!
There are a ton more features to these players and I'm sure others will pitch in and give their thoughts. But if you check out other threads on these forums you will notice a lot of people will recommend these players and will say you won't regret buying them!
Let us know if you have any questions about the players, and search the forums as you never know what else you might find out that would be handy to know. :)
Thanks,
Foster
You really came to the pioneer forums to ask us if we recommend the numark?
Just wanted some help with a comparison, obviously the 2000 is the industry standard for a reason, i was just hoping someone could explain the huge price difference and what specifically makes the 2000's that much better
Traktor users usually get excited about the soundcards don't they?
Get the Pioneers. If you play out anywhere, they won't have Numarks.
LOL - that last line is the best one. :D
I cant beleive you would consider comparing our beloved cdj 2000 with a piece of garbage like a numark, even if you compared a denon, I mighthave said maybe......hmmm...The Cdj is a club standard worlwide and there is a reason why it is that, admitted I would have sold a kidney if I couldnt get one coz they are freaking expensive, but the flexibility, manuvarability and sheer beauty of the 2000 just makes it stand out from everything else,it has revulutionised the industry...am I right guys????
I'm starting to think that Sarge Kinlin came to the forums to be convinced he should spend the money on them. lol Go for it man! You'll love them! Not to mention be the talk of all your friends and anyone who sees you DJ'ing with them! ;)
Yeah Foster pretty much nailed it there, I've been thoroughly convinced, CDJs it is haha thanks guys.
@Sarge Kinlin > Haha nice, I wish I used these forums to prove to my parents I needed Pioneer! lol Best of luck mate, and let everyone know how much you love them when you get hold of them too! And if you have any questions or issues, be sure to search the forums for similar threads first and ask us whatever you need if you can't find it.
Cheers,
Foster
My friend, if it's about the money, then buy the cdj 350. They still better than that crap numark.
@Sarge > The great thing about Pioneer decks is that they hold their value, so you can start on the 350s and build your way up.
The answer is very simple for me.... If you play out in a club that already has equipment, you are most likely to see Pioneer CD players. For this reason, I would never consider another brand.
If the CDJ-2000 is too expensive, then perhaps consider the CDJ-900 for home. It has many of the features of the 2000, and also uses Rekordbox.
