serato native bug please fix:(

just move your crates from serato to RB and use "LINK"  :)

exactly what? The reason i got the cdj's was because of the native support. I thought i would be able to close the laptop and use the screen on the cdj to read the tracks track playing now and find the next track. But no lol i have half the screen taken up with this white crap! I will sell these if they dont plan on fixing this crap! I bought the 2000 over the 900 just because of the screen size and how easy it would be to read the track. Lol if you cant see there is a problem you are crazy!

Have you changed the Cdj HID mode to advanced on the players?

@joshua > The CURRENT track is displayed, you can't browse the remainder of your collection on the display of the 900 itself, that's what the computer display is for.  What you're asking is basically to use Serato without the computer.  Have you considered Rekordbox?  Because it does just that.

You should be able to see much more than your video. Do a YouTube search for serato cdj2000 advanced HID. It looks awesome, I wish traktor supported it too.

Phil, unfortunately HID advanced has nothing to do with this, It is just the way it is, No matter what settings you change, when you are using the 2000 to browse sera to crates, half the screen is dedicated to album art and the other half is the song title

and after only wasting 2 minutes of my day looking, i did youtube ""cdj2000 advanced HID"" and they all show what we are saying while browsing serato via the 2000

thanks brichi, just for the record im a video dj thats why i use serato and mix emergency:) This would be an easy fix for something that makes no sense at all. Yea im going to argue that a white box is better than track info lol GET REAL!

That's the player GUI and there's no way to change it.

i agree with joshua. the screen layout in general could have been WAY better thought out.

when i scroll thru tracks i have to pause and wait 3-4 seconds on each song in order to wait to

read the entire thing.

It's a poorly designed part of the GUI.  Not a show stopper but a real shame.
