@Ric > Was the audio only distorted in the headphones or on the headphones and Master Output? If just the headphones, has he tried using different headphones to see if those are the issue? It might be easier to tell him to come on here so we can answer his questions directly.

helping someone
because i have a few videos on youtube someone told me they where getting the same setup, but wanted to ask a few things first, alot about rekordbox link, which is not avalible, and he doesnt seem bothered by, but he also said he had used the djm-350 and the music distorted when at high volume through the headphones, now i told him i have never had this problem and would guess that the unit was faulty or his headphones where past it.
but wanted to see has anyone else had this issue

Levels too high, headphones too loud, or headphones too crappy. The 350 doesn't just "distort".
I have the 350's and my hdj 500 headphones distort when the monitoring volume is on max. It must be normal i guess?
I have to turn the volume up when im in a club otherwise i wont hear it!
Usually at max, you are over amplifying the audio - hence, distortion.
@Lewis > If you've to crank your headphones to max in the club and leave them at max all the time I'd consider a better pair of headphones / monitors or better positioning in the DJ booth (behind speakers etc).
