They have the same settings in the menu .
As i look more and more you can see that they are 2 difrent machines like in the middle of the platter the other one is slightli brighter then the other .
When i got the them one was with Firmware 3,1 but the other one was 4,0 ???
But they are both now 4,1 .
What can be wrong
Nothing is wrong. Over time the parts used to manufacture the decks are subject to change, or may be obtained from different suppliers. The difference in colour of the screens is something that has been mentioned here several times. All it proves is that your 2 CDJs were made at different times. If you look on the back/bottom, there should be a label indicating when they were manufactured. Again there's nothing wrong and I doubt there's anything that you can actually do.
I contacted the dealer and he is on it.
But this is just a mistake that the people at Pioneer did
you don’t sent one the is made December 2011 and one that’s made November 2010 that has different part´s.
Anyway I think that the Screen is more visible on the older one then the newer one .
Let´s see what happens I trust Pioneer .-)
That all depends on your dealer and their supplier. Good luck.
@HIynur > Sometimes there can be supply chain issues with certain components from Pioneer's suppliers. There was a change in production for some parts of the CDJ LED screen. This won't affect playback. This is only apparent if you didn't buy both CDJs at the same time.
@Garvin- i got buth of them at the same time , i hope the problem will be fixt from my dealer .
@Hlynur > It is possible that you bought them at a time when the retailer had both types of units in stock - this is akin to a computer company changing the stock harddrive that comes with the computer - there is no difference in performance.
Gavin
I feel like I don’t have to defend my self it is just common sense.
You know as well as I do that we like to get matching pairs and this players are not matching pairs.
It is not my problem that the retailer did not have a maching pair they should have let me know.
For me is like buying 2 computer displays and one is little blue and the other on is normal.
If you bought them both from an authorised dealer at the same time, and they didn't mention that they were built at different times, then they should exchange one of them so that they're the same. But if you bought them from a private seller, you're probably stuck with those.
@RedTurboMr2 > No, thats not correct. It'll be at the discretion of the retailer if they choose to change them or not.
Wow, that sux. I'm glad i have a matching pair then.
The comments about the fact the LCD panel is from a different supplier are correct and you will notice that the white-point is different from old to new; one looks more "blue" than the other.
There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with the players and they will not be exchanged by a retailer or Pioneer.
