CDJ-2000 Cue automatic?

I was recently toying around with two cdj2000s and one cdj1000 mk3 (was running at 900 nexus mixer) and I realised the 1000 mk3 was automatically cueing at the beginning of songs and both the 2000s were not.

Is there anyway to get the 2000s to cue automatically to the beginning of the song?

Any help is much appreciated :)

LOL - indeed.  Press and hold the AUTO CUE button, you'll see it illuminate in the display area.

No worries Grant - you weren't the first and, undoubtedly, won't be the last.

When using a linked USB drive, is there a to keep from going to the previous song while cueing?

In a word, no.  However, most people forget that the same has always applied to CDs, and on previous players too, but most of the time you'll be playing track 1 on a CD so don't notice it. :-)

Mike, This has been requested a while back to have the cdj not jump backwards because it makes it almost impossible to scratch on the first beat of the song, yes you can shut off auto cue so it doesnt auto cue if you go back and let go but even with that off there are times it will catch the last sound of the previous song, hopefully it is changed
