Player goes to different track when using jog

New here and just got my new CDJ-2000s. I've noticed some of you having some problems that are similar to mine, but I didn't see one like this yet.

I'm always on vinyl mode and when I backspin the track on the jog wheel to try to go back to the first beat or note and i happen to surpass it the player jumps to the song that is before it on the playlist. I have auto cue on and all, but it still does it. Is this a normal thing?

Another thing it does from time to time (I've noticed that it doesn't do it as long as I have auto cue on), when the track finishes it goes to the next one on the playlist.

Currently the way I have it set up is Player 1 has a usb HDD connected while player 2 is linked to player 1 and leeching from the HDD.

yes, when rewinding back it will unfortunately go to the previous track which makes it difficult to scratch on the first beat of the song, I have to turn auto cue off so it continues after scratching and sometimes it even catches the last beat of the previous song, sucks but I guess you get used to workarounds

 

your second issue with it just playing the next track automatically even with auto cue on has been discussed on the forum, hopefully the engineers fix the issue soon

Ok. Just making sure mine had some glitch. It's not a burden or anything. Really doesn't get in the way of anything I do. Was just wondering.

 

Yeah, I've read the threads on the other problem. Seems like having auto cue on prevents that.

 

I really hope they find a quick fix for these two issues. Thanks a lot for the response and help!
