July 5th Firmware Update - What Particular MP3 Noise?

I do not understand that fix written as a particular MP3 file. What particular MP3 file are they talking about?

Whoever posted the update fixes needs to be told this.  This is quality assurance free of charge. :)

I don't see the problem with a fix that they found and users didn't...?

I think movingzachb was talking about the choice of words in the fw change log. Any fw update is welcome!

@ Pioneer specialists

What about the malfunctioning 4-beat loop cutter ? Is it still too early ? I am complaining about this since 2010. Half year ago i was told the problem was submitted to the engineers. How much time is it needed for fixing that button? How many years ?

That is a sad thing to hear.. what exactly is the problem with it? I  don't use it actually but I don't like how the beat loop function via the needle search is implemented.

@Marian > Although I don't have any information on what fixes or updates will be included on any future firmware releases, they are aware of the issue.

<EDIT> Marian, this doesn't contribute to the topic at hand and I have told you before that they are aware of the issue. </EDIT>

I agree with Marian. What do you mean, you don't know. YOU SHOULD KNOW. Is this an OFFICIAL pioneer web page or not????

And I apologize if you feel I am rude..

@ Max

Sorry, i cannot say a word about that problem on this forum without my messages being deleted, edited (see the previous one).

Perhaps it is a very big problem which cannot be fixed only by modifying the firmware (i first posted about it in september 2010). Better to be kept as a secret, they don't want the people to know about it, to talk about it, to express their dissatisfaction about it. We are censorred!

Check your mail, if you are subscribed to this topic then you received my previous UNALTERED message there.

@Dream Treez:  That is completely unreasonable.  Do you think that every employee in a company knows EVERYTHING about what is going on behind the scenes and in product development?  Of course not, that is totally ridiculous!  Yes this is Pioneers official forum, but what difference does that make?

Sure, the staff and Mods will get Beta releases of the firmware to test but they're covered by strict NDAs, so regardless of what is known, they can't pass the information on.  I think the most detailed piece of information we've been given here about a past firmware update that we were all waiting for was something along the lines of "It's coming soon, and we think you'll like it".

Yes the wording of how the listed that seems to be a typo or something. I was referring to the grammar.

Not forgetting they may well of fixed issues that they did not comment on, because that would be admitting that the issues were there in the first place.

Not saying this is the case because I know, but it's certainly done in my line of business.
