NO MORE UPDATE FOR CDJ2000???

Notification for CDJ-2000/CDJ-900 owners

To coincide with the launch of the “CDJ-2000nexus”, Pioneer will commence a “CDJ-2000/CDJ-900” firmware update from end of October. This update will make it possible to avoid certain feature restrictions when connecting the “CDJ-2000nexus” and “CDJ-2000/CDJ-900” via LAN.

Ok. But how about new features?

will there be continued updates for the 2000? does anyone from pio know?

Considering that the last update took about 6 months to come out and fixed almost nothing people were expecting to be fixed I would say this next one will come to make our "old" units compatible with the new Nexus. No doubt they will be focusing on that. Don't expect our begging to be heard. The features that still doesn't work properly will probably remain the same making you having to buy a new Nexus unit if you want them to work how you would like. So keep posting your suggestions here and giving bright and awesome ideas to Pioneer release a new product to sell for a lot of money to you.

What features don't work stroboscope? Your last complaint of 'drifting' was proved to be user error on your part. What are you still struggling with, someone on here might be able to help..

If the waveform is added to cdj 2000 mk1 I will be very happy....

I say "slip mode" no.     "auto load" maybe

think about it, if they add all these features to the mk1, why would anyone buy the Nexus, 

@Gavin > That what you named is not update. this is a bug fix. Update is when new features are avalible.

it's not a bug fix sonare, it's to enable compatibility between the 2 versions of the CDJ 2K decks.

@Sonare > I doubt either of those functions can be incorporated. I'm not going to get into an argument over the definition of an update - so there will be a new 'version' of firmware in October.
