2000 nexus connection with Rekordbox

Hi,

Firstly I'm a noob to pioneer equipment, when connecting my laptop and RB to 1 cdj via a usb it isnt picked up in RB? i have to use an ethernet cable from the link port, i assumed the link ports and ethernet cables were to connect the 2cdj's?

HELP!!!

PS whats the best way to record from a DJM 900?

nope, ethernet is for RB, USB is for midi/HID mode for programs like serato

Thanks, so the only way to get RB onto both cdj's is either a wireless router or 2 laptops??

no, buy a network switch, plug both cdj ehternets and the laptop ethernet all into the swithc, similar to how you would use a usb hub, just with ethernet

You can use a wireless router to send tracks via WiFi if you wish, as you have CDJ2000nexus.
