Cdj 2000 Nexus playlist on usbstick without artist names

I just bought 2 cdj 2000 nexus and i have the problem that i can see in my playlists only the trackname but not the artist. I searched everywhere in the menue of the Player to change this, but i didnt found an option for change.  on my old cjd 2000 this wasn't a Problem and it was always artist name and trackname in the list.

Does somebody know where i can change this ?

Thank you in advance.

in the RB settings you need to specify a default "right side" column like in the pic I attached

I havent played to much with the "my settings" but it was pretty easy from what I remember. I do know it does not work if you use RB LINKED to your nexus, it is only working with external devices like SD and usb

I have found a (not very satifying, but as far as I can see only) solution for showing both [Artist - Trackname] on the left column as well as BPM on the right column when using playlists:

Change your ID3-Tags "Trackname" into the form [Artist - Trackname]

Since I already used the form [Artist - Trackname] for my filenames, I could do this in one minute by using a MP3-Tag-Program like "MP3-tag".

Another advantage: When you have the waveform on your screen, you also see [Artist - Trackname] on the upper left corner.

I do not know, why Pioneer did not find another solution, since it should be very simple to integrate this feature into the software without changing all the tracknames!

I have exactly the same problem. I mentally find tracks by "Artist - TrackName", instead of just "TrackName".

However the CDJ always uses the "TrackName" as its Major field, plus a second single costumizable field for sortings. This causes the issues described in this thread, which is essentially the inability to sort by 3 fields at the same time (BPM, artist, trackname).

The situation is a bit better on the latest CDJ-2000Nx2 using a BPM +-2% filter at all times on the current playlist. However this is definitely still not the same as having "Artist - TrackName" treated as as a single field.

----

Suggestion: Could the CDJ have a configurable Major field as well? This way we could redefine an unused field to be "Artist - TrackName" in MP3Tag. For example I don't use the "album", "release", or "my tag" fields.

PS: For now I'm doing the same as Matthias, by redefining "trackname" to be "artist - trackname". This works, but it forces me to essentially corrupt my whole collection for this specific usecase.
