Hi,
let's say the track you want to play has 128bmp by default.
Move down the pitch to e.g. 132 bmp.
It increases the velocity as well as the pitch.
Then turn on "Master tempo" - the velocity will be 132, but the pitch will be default.
Regards.
Hello there,
I’ve just bought a pair of CDJ 850 yesterday and I really don’t know how to use ‘Master Tempo’.
These are the steps I make:
1- Insert my USB pendrive.
2- Press USB button. The pendrive folder loads perfect.
3- Select a song. The song starts playing.
4- Set the BPM, for example to 125.
5- Press Master Tempo Button.
When I change the song, it doesn’t play at 125. It plays at the original song speed. Is it normal?
There is no further info in the manual.
I would be very pleased if you could help me with this.
Regards, Max.

@Max B > What is your understanding of what Master Tempo does?
My bad, I got confused with the function of BPM Lock of the CDJ 350.
This is my first time that I play with Pioneer CDJ's.
Srry, newbie question.
@Max B > No worries! I thought you might have been getting some things confused hence why I asked.
