[SOLVED] CDJ 2000 - E-8302: PLAYER ERROR (B185)

Hello

I had this problem yesterday :/

Track that I played suddenly stopped.

It was played from LINKED to second CDJ 2000 USB memory.

What this error means?

Its a playback error. Have you been able to replicate the issue?

Are you on the latest firmware? Do you use rekordbox? If so, what version of rekordbox are you on?

Where do you get your tracks? What USB stick do you use?

@Rafal > Have you been able to replicate the issue? Has it only happened once? Has it happened with random tracks or with the same one consistently?

It happend only once. I played that track one more time without error. I can't replicate it.

Its hard to narrow down what may have caused the issue then. Were you playing in a club environment or at home?

I'm just wondering if there's heavy bass in the club that may have caused a vibrational issue... Are there bass bins underneath the DJ booth?

@Rafal > Here's the response I've had from the engineers:

"E-8302(B185) is shown during accessing a USB device via LINK.

So, this might not be related with vibrational issue caused by heavy Bass in the club.  What did he do or try to do before the error occurred?

It would be helpful if more details like the following information is provided - mp3 or AAC (mp4)? VBR or CBR?

Tracks analyzed with rekordbox or not?

If he can replicate the problem, please let us know."

Track: MP3, 320kbps, 44khz, alanyzed by recordbox.

It happend only once, I played that track later without problems.

@Rafal > It is difficult to assess a report when there has been only one incidence and it is not possible to reproduce. The engineers will continue to monitor the situation.
