CDJ2000 NEXUS: Track jumps back to beginning of cue
when i play a track on my cdj 2000nexus, the first 2 to 3 minutes into the song all of a sudden it jumps back to the beginning of the same track.. every other 3 or 4 tracks i play it keeps doing that.. all my tracks are wav file.. and my usb is formatted ( fat ). all decks are up to date with the latest firmware..
this is unexeptable in my field of music mixing in the clubs..please tell me this is a bug and can be fixed !!
does any cdj 2000 nexus users have this same issue ?

no ,it happents to other tracks as i play along. all music files are analized as well. i had one of my music friend that dropped by to do a live recording on the decks, and i happent to his music files aswell.. hopefully this is a bug issue and can be solved. so for now we moved back to the regular cdj 2000

"Some of the new functions might be mistaken as a bug because this kind of bug has never been reported to us so far.
It could be caused by Active Loop or Fader Start.
Would you please ask KATNIP if he unconsciously uses active loop or fader start?"

preciate the quik feedback gavin,so the answer to their questions is : no loop was active during my performance,and i don't use the fader start funtion.
However,i just notice that when i take the "auto cue " off it works normal,when turned on it randomly jumps back to beginning of the song .. so im guessing the issue is the " auto cue " function..

Is it happening on just one deck or any of yours? I am think maybe since it only happens when the deck was cued, maybe it's a faulty "Loop out" button that is triggering a loop and then exiting? far fetched but you never know, lol

Gavin, this is hard to re-produce but when I was using my tablet wirelessly linked to the decks I had the same thing happen kinda, I was about 30 seconds into a track, stopped the platter and scratched a little and when I let the platter go it just cued back to the beginning of the track and paused. Seemed to do it while the track was buffering into the deck.

hey guys. this is very old I see. but I have the same issue lately. my cdj(2000 nexus) also goes back from time to time to the beginning of the track and when it is on cue it also starts playing on it's own. 1st I tought that maybe the play/cue buttons(switches) needed to be replaced/fixed , but after a while same problem , than I tought maybe the bass(sound) of monitor speaker ( 1 meter away) was the problem but I moved the player further away from the speaker and still the same issue. any solution yetfor this???
