phrase countdown only works when you have cues set throughout the song and only counts the phrases between consecutive cue points
and you must have your music analyzed through rekordbox as well. hope this helps
The phrase countdown on the Nexus is not showing up for some reason and has not started... is there a certain setting to enable this? How exactly does this work?

Unfortunately it hasn't been doing that for me its always just blank with dashes I can upload a photo in a little to show
Example: I have multiple hot cues and there is no phrase countdown
those are hot cues you set, A B and C, those wont trigger a countdown, you need to set memory points, you can do up to 10, go to particular part of a track, set a cue point by pressing "IN/CUE" or CUE while the deck is stopped, then press memory to save it. when you load the track the countdown will now start from the start of the track to that newly set memory point
Thanks BriChi! What do these memory points do that is useful besides this? Sorry I'm a new transfer to Rekordbox
the memory points are very usefull if you like to store points to load a track and jump to a spot via the call arrows, I use them to save loops i may use or secific parts of tracks i like to play once i load it
wow thats really cool, if I wanted to do loop memory on the actual player how would i do such? I prefer configuring my loops and cues via player than the actual software even though it just stays on that one usb
you can save them one of 2 ways, once yu are in a loop you like you can save that by hitting memory and you can also save it to A B or C hot cues by hitting REC and one of them, the hot cue will then be yellow instead of the usual green color
sweet thanks yeah i knew about hot cue loops but not memory! that will be awesome thanks so much!
no problem, since you seem to like loops, keep in mind you can set 1 "active loop" per track too meaning you can set a loop to auto loop once it reaches the desired point to start on it's own. I use this to set towards some of the end of track so it auto loops a 8 beat loop in case I am caught off guard or want to extend a mix, I know it will just start to loop on it's own where I set it. In RB, Once you choose a loop you like, hit memory on the right hand side and then click "active"
fantastic! thanks so much!
