[SOLVED] Fao Phil- loading cuepoint question from another thread

Phil you said this in another thread - is this option only available on the cdj 2000 nexus utility menu? When I look on the cdj 2000 mk1 it only gives you numbers as options for 'auto cue level' Yes, set the first cue point in rekordbox , hit memory to store it otherwise it won't save. Then, in the utility menu on the Cdj set the auto cue level to 'memory'. Job done... Thanks Ian

Hi Ian, no you can set this on the mark one too. I think the setting in the utility menu is called 'memory'. This will auto load to your first saved cue point providing you have one saved for that track. Let me know if you need any further help.

Thanks for the reply Phil.

Unless im loosing it, there doesnt seem to be an option in the cdj 2000 utility menu called memory or anything similar.

I only have an sd card in it, with tracks that have the first beats saved as a cue points made in rb.

Any help appreciated!

I can see how how the 'My Settings' tab in the export section of preferences in the rekordbox software shows the value '1st Memory Cue' for the field 'AUTO CUE LEVEL' but obviously this is for use with nexus only as far i as i know.

The cdj 2000 utility menu also has the field  'AUTO CUE LEVEL' but doesn't have the value '1st Memory Cue' to choose from.

Am i missing something?

i could have sworn i've used it on a mark one but i could be mistaken... maybe it's just a nexus feature after all - i don't have either decks to hand so i can't check i'm afraid...

Export prefs only work on the nexus.
What are the settings in the mark one utility menu, are they just db numbers?

Yeah their just db numbers, if you have the 2000s linked to rb SOME export prefs actually work. Things like jog wheel light, on air status etc... Sadly tho I can't even switch off the cd slot light

@cdjbasile

From a closed topic: "Could the cdj 2000 mk1 get the value '1st Memory Cue' added for the  'AUTO CUE LEVEL' setting in the utility menu like the nexus?"

I made this suggestion before the cdj2000 nexus came on the market:

http://forums.pioneerdj.com/entries/20882963-Suggestions-for-future-firmware-releases

Sad it was necessary to build a new model for that! :(

At least i'm happy they put my name on the credits list on the back of the new nexus players.  lol

If the put your name on the back for that idea then I should get my own deck named the CDJ-2000BriChi edition. Lol
