Hi all
Since one week I own two brand new CDJ 2000NXS and today I have noticed that the same jog adjustments (12 o clock position ) on two players feel different . One player has in this position more resistance than the other. Its not just in the 12 o clock position. Is this normal ? Can there be deviations although the same jog adjustments ? Or should I contact my dealer for replacement ?

I guess it depends on how drastic the difference is, how much it annoys you and how much of a pain it is to get back to the dealer
can you go to the dealer and compare? you really dont know which one is the correct one at this point so if you return one to get a new one, you may have returned the wrong one
if you keep it a little more loose, with the same hand, do a spinback and see how many more rotations one does then the other.
Congrats on the purchase Pat. I had the same exact issue and just kept them (mostly bc of what Bri pointed out), but sympathize with how frustrating it can be to find something like this after dropping serious coin. If it's any comfort, getting a balanced resistance on mine, they're about 3-4 clicks off on the jog adjust. I thought the tighter one would break in and they'd eventually match up but that hasn't happened. As long as you can get them each to the resistance you prefer, I'd say stick with them. Once I set them I forgot about it within days - trust me, you'll be plenty distracted by the ride these things are about to take you for...

I came from Traktor and must say, that I did not miss anything Traktor can do....the only thing I would like to see is cover preview in RB when you search for titles but you only remember the cover..
The tension can be adjusted internally by a service technician so if one is slightly off it can be calibrated to match the other. Pioneer does not recommend you attempt this yourself.
