[SOLVED] Cdj 2000 hotcue question / problem

Hello,

I have a question about the hotcues on the cdj 2000 Nexus.

I have set them to load automatically and this works fine.

Now the problem:

I have 2 songs with hotcues:

I first played song number one and the hotcues were loaded automatically....

Then when I select song number 2 by using the rotary dial, the hotcues will also load automatically.

BUT when I would select song 2 by using the TRACK SEARCH knob, the hotcues won't switch. (song was next in the list)

The hotcues from song one would still be loaded although song 2 also has hotcues.

Loading the hotcues manually still works...

Is this normal behavior ? Is there a way to change this ?

Did I explain everything clear ?

yes, very clear and that's how it is (for now if they decide to change this).

I notice if you load from the TRACK buttons and from "Last 5 tracks played" menu button, the hot cues do not load

I am going to assume the track search issue is intended to be like that for users who want to jump and listen quick through tracks without having to wait for the cues to load for every track. I personally like it this way but if they change it then I am fine with that too

Thanks brichi,

now I know it's suppose to work like that....

lucky for me I was at home when this occurred.... because jumping to a previous track in a live set wouldn't sound good!!!

But it's ok.... I'll adapt :)
