I'm using the CDJ-2000 Decksavers for my two CDJ-2000NXS without any problems (or scratches) and I'm not using the plastic film.
Works fine for me.
I recall the decksaver for the Mk1 leaving a nasty mark around the platter after a while, especially if not used with the plastic film/stencil that comes with the covers. Are the Nexus players also susceptible to the same blemishes after a while or is the apparently new shiny plastic material used around the platter on the Mk2s resistant to such scratches?
Any thoughts?

i used decksavers for my nexus and have no issues with mine. I believe this would be a decksaver issue NOT a Pioneer issue. I have heard of some decksavers being a little OFF.. That might be the case with yours? I would return them and get a new set.

So they fit OK yea? I'll keep hold of my Decksavers if so...
And as for 'off' Decksavers - that's perfectly possible. I got one for my EFX-1000 and it just didn't fit, it wasn't just tight, it was literally short by 1mm across the entire width. Sent it back and ordered a new one a few months later which was fine.
Mine made the mark Eychenne Everyday describes round the platter of the cdj 2000.
I sold them to upgrade to the nexus, but kept the decksavers, but they seem to be starting to do the same thing on the nexus tbh
Yup, they definitely do unfortunately. The bump around the platter on the underside of the decksaver is creating a hard plastic-on-plastic contact point. Wish they would just add 4 tiny rubber feet for like $20 more.
See pics...
Thats a shame, has anyone contacted Decksavers about this? I'll probably meet them in person in October if you guys want me to mention it to them...?
@Eychenne > How's Gavin doing? ;)
Yes, I emailed them to make them aware, and asked did the nexus ones create the same markings, but no reply...
It's a shame because I've always liked the deck savers and in their defence I've never had any issues with my djm 800, ddj t1, rmx, s2 and cdj 1000s covers!
