I still got my mk1's and i prefer to play with them! As unbelievable it sounds, but i do. In fact i think of selling my nexuses... And i'm not happy about it.
Anyone tried it yet? Ver.1.11 -> Ver.1.13 (17 June, 2013 Update) - Fixed an issue where the browse screen would become slow or stop when the unit is used for several hours. - Fixed an issue where the BACK button does not navigate to the browse screen when editing a playlist in rekordbox while the unit is connected to rekordbox via the Pro DJ Link. - Fixed a rare issue where playback from other media would not start, stop or be selected when a large USB device (e.g. 20,000 tracks) is disconnected. - Fixed an issue where the unit freezes when pressing the HOT CUE (REC/CALL) button for over 1 second during auto hot cue loading.

For what it's worth (and for the record, I've not updated the players from 1.10 yet, and won't until there's a solid consensus that the update won't break anything important), I think this update sounds like a reasonable fix list. Given the choice between having to wait for everything to be fixed versus having an interim "not-so quick fix" for the showstopper bugs now and more fixes later, I'll take what I can get now. Not that I like the choice by any stretch of the imagination, but anything we can get now is a bonus.
Pioneer really do need to follow though quickly with another stable update though to fix the many other outstanding problems. If they can't deliver, they need to start making the organization changes so that they can deliver. This update looks like it might be progress provided that it proves stable, but it's not enough by itself. There's still a mountain to climb.
Once again the real test isn't going to be getting the updates out there. It's how quickly they can recall an update and replace it with a working version when they inevitably introduce new bugs. Given what I've seen regarding Rekordbox 2.0.7 in the last couple of days, they've still got a long way to go. Lessons _still _haven't been learned - how you respond when an update breaks something is more important than getting new updates and features out there.
These decks really not feeling professional,Please pioneer listen to the customers
Please do something. They're professional decks. Would like how it would feel one top ten dj with those decks with so many bugs in live.

they don't use them live, they use the MK1's :)
I have had 3 seperate DJ's (of international standing) all state clearly that they will not use any nexus product in the last 2 weeks alone.
yup, one of the guys I work with does large venues and the riders he gets from most dj's states CDJ2000 (NOT THE NEXUS). it's sad actually
What you say clearly it doesn't speak so good about pioneer. It's a shame so good product and so bad firmware
It's exactly the same situation as the transition from the cdj1000 mk3 to the cdj2000. Early buggy software and firmware meant people didn't want to take a chance with the new decks and requested the older ones.
It's a shame pioneer hasn't learned from this.
I was reading an old article on a site going back in feb 2013. Well 800 employees from pioneer was about to get lay off due to lack of sale from all there products. I think in Japan. Maybe due to short staff that's why FW are not pushing fast Enough. I could be wrong but that's what am thinking
makes sense!
I would send the but not sure if they will closed the thread
Mean send the link
They're fully replaced i think. There's no way to buy some 2000 nowadays i think. Then you go to your dealer and found this. Now if you buy some new they'll come with 1.11 or 1.13. Not a good chance to get ones. i think that all we need new full fixed firmware. Pio as brand (they're not on good place now with this) and tje customers as users of they're products

This might say something!
Who is damaged by this? As always the people who buy they're products. Always us
The company called its home electronics business — which includes home A/V, DJ and optical-disc drives — “unprofitable,” with an operating loss in the quarter of 1.67 billion yen, compared with a year-ago operating income of 224 million yen.
there's your answer!
It looks like Gavin and Pulse were layed off too, judging by the lack of responses in this thread. Ha ha
god lets hope not, they're our only hope
Hope they can say something convinceable
maybe if they didnt give so much gear away!
Maybe Gavin and pulse work for d...n! Lol just kidding I love those guys. Brichi don't leave too. Lol
i'm still here for a while, lol
That really is saddening to read and says it all. The company is losing millions, the Nexus set up hasn't had the gravitas expected and hence why would you pour money into it. It looks like we may have just been very unlucky here as I can't see where future updates of any meaning will come from.
I feel that the company care more about sale then fixing any issue that goes on. That's why I feel like the cdj2000 nexus was rushed and know that people will buy it be cuz of the logo. It's a shame to cuz the nexus has alot of Potential
I sold my pair of 1000mk3 to buy this. Maybe one of my worsts ideas of my life for the moment. Hope you can turn this away
Whether the article was true or not I feel like I had to share it with everyone. You guys spend soooooo much money on there gear and get poor service back. I feel like its not fair to anyone. And something has to be done. People work to hard for there money to be throwing it around.
I think some of you are getting a little carried away about the article.
The only truth its (wether article its truth or not) this cdjs are so expensive and don't work fine. If yoi would buy an audi s5 and happen the same wouldn't do the same? Need info and updateds and need them now. Hope people from Pio could say something. They're little bit disappeared
At least if they got rid of the DJ division, we'd know there'd be no more updates instead of being toyed with and strung along by these professional cowboys.
I do feel sorry for the mods, as much as they try, their efforts seem to fall on deaf ears with the suits that actually have any influence on things or make decisions
