[CLOSED] "Emergency Loop" Last 2 Nights

Saturday night whilst playing background music pre gig from a USB stick the nexus went into emergency loop, I have no idea why it would of done that in USB mode.

Sunday night about 10 tracks into the gig I was playing a funky house track whilst connected to Rekordbox/Laptop/Ethernet and it went into its 4 beat Emergency Loop again.

Im not sure about Saturday but last night I was charging my phone pre gig and it opened itunes automatically which i then forgot to close, so that was open. Is it possible itunes could of crashed Rekordbox ?

Also I don't turn off my wireless, is it possible that something in the background may have overidden the ethernet connection.

As far as the USB going into Emergency Loop any ideas anyone ?

Also once it goes into emergency loop/ethernet connection is the only way out to switch onto USB/SD on the other deck then try and re establish the connection ?

Would be interested to hear any other stories, why it happened and what you did.

What i really want to establish is why this is happening and the best way out of it because i've temporarily lost a bit of faith and suffering paranoia now ...but I'm guessing the problems are going to be down to user error in some way and that the issue is either with itunes or wireless.

Its unlikely iTunes running could have caused rekordbox to crash.

The CDJ may go into an emergency loop for some reasons which may include the USB stick being removed / loose in the CDJ, a loose connection in ProDJ Link etc. What brand USB sticks do you use? What brand router do you use?

The USB stick was playing on Saturday background music so wasn't removed at the time as I was able to start playing out from deck 2 on the same USB. The brand is WD from pc world, i believe its been formatted for mac use and works fine with rekordbox quantise features and play out.

The router was "on networks". I had a problem the following night (sun) when I went into EL whilst playing live connected to rekordbox/laptop via the software. I have since purchased a metal netgear router. Whilst testing the on networks router today I managed to send the cdj into an EL by messing with the wireless connection even though the router had an Ethernet cable in it something happened to cause a loss of connection to the cdj. I'm going to give the netgear a good few hours playing time and if there's no issues I'm going to switch on the wireless and see if I can cause it to drop the connection an go into an EL but I'm guessing the fact I'm now using a switching hub rather than a router will eradicate the problems, if it happens again with this hub I will really start to worry about the reliability of the cdj when connected by Ethernet.

Is it possible that although I was playing USB background music on sat that the fact the nexus system was also connected to the on networks router by Ethernet it had a drop out on the router which sent the cdj into EL regardless of the fact it was playing USB at the time, the router method simply overode the USB rather than it being anything to do with USB ?
