[CLOSED] SOLD

I was once told that maybe my setup wasn't for me, setup being the crappy Nexus line. He was right. I just sold the last CDJ 2000 Nexus on EBAY! Yes, I took a devastating hit $$ but the fun wasn't there, it was more of a chore to fine tune songs in RB, pull cables to make adjustments in RB, the features I want were never put into the software... SO on and so on. Point being they were just expensive decorations. My whole setup is gone.

Good bye Pioneer

Let me guess... tomorrow everything I ever wanted in a RB update will be released. Just my luck

Justin time for some Hardstyle!

Very understandable the frustration of having to get rid of these players... It's sad to say that I think we are stuck with what we have now.. Something as simple as being able to control RB on the computer from the CDJ (like HID Mode) has still not yet been implemented. When you would think that this would be a feature that would of been available from the start.. The poor track analyzing and glitches and failures are just not expectable at this price point. They are a very sexy piece of dj gear, but if they don't work the the sexyness means nothing.

Plus it's irritating when I see Mix Vibes pushing there lousy dj s/w and apps(FB & youtube) that no one cares about or wants... I have never heard ANY of my dj friends, friends of friends, strangers of friends... ECT. Say... Hey, can't wait to pick up my mixed vibes dj s/w program... (BTW.. Mixvibes is HID and can be controlled by the cdj searching for music) So you would think that they would be working 24/7 together with Pioneer to get RB and the CDJ 2000 Nexus talking and working together perfect.. What mixvibes don't wanna realize is that there dj s/w isn't going anywhere... There chance to make it in the dj world is Rekordbox!! Time to wake up and smell the coffee. Or Maybe if Pioneer comes out with another color cdj like the ridiculous over priced chrome models that have the same issues as the normal cdj's, we will forget about our problems???

I think the cdj 2000 MK1 was a big break through in the dj world and that others tried to catch up to Pioneer. I think Pioneer heard what we wanted on the MK1 and added the Sync feature because it see's where the dj world is headed and wants to be leading the way in the dj world and be the first.. I just think they came up a bit short on what they said the capabilities are on the nexus.. I don't think that Pioneer tries to catch up with any other manufacture when it comes to the cdj's... I do think they do that with there controllers though.. They just need to get RB and this player working correctly.

I've ditched Rekordbox now and i'm using Traktor HID - shame I didn't make the decision prior to the NEXUS being launched as I wouldn't have shelled out £3k and just used my MK1 harmoniously.

Expensive controllers !!!

I said many times before 2000$ for a cdj should have enough power to run and analyze tracks within the unit itself or else what is the point way to expensive to still have to rely on a external source for analyzing and setting up tracks. I also think this would help the engineers figure out what is going on since they would be more involved with the software process.

The Denon players can analyze the music right on the player as well... Seems like a simple feature that should of been there from day one.

@Justin > Sorry to hear you feel you've been left with no choice but to make this decision. I wish you well with your future product choices.
