[OPEN] cdj 900 nexus

The traffic-light system doesn't work within rekordbox itself, but rather on the players.

Pulse I can't seem to find the feature either in rekordbox or the players do you have to activate it. My players are brand new would I need to update the firmware to use it. Can't seem to find a demo to see what iam actually looking for any help appreciated

IF I understand it correctly. When you are looking at the songs on the cdj's screen, the songs that will sound good with the current song playing will be green. 

After your songs are analyzed and transferred then you will see on your decks playlist which song is recommended harmonically by the text having a green color.

You can also assign your tracks different color tags in rekordbox on your computer just like in osx mavericks so you can sort them by Blue/warmup or red/banger etc

So from the beginning:

1. analyze the tracks by recordbox(import in the program: File>import>....., or drag by itunes bridge folders),

2. activate the sort option in recordbox on your device by key: - in program preferences in the "sort"bookmark drag "key"from the list on the left to the list on the right by the arrows, (you can either just select in the "column" bookmark the "key" option)

3. export the tracks to usb key by recordbox

4. in browser in cdj900nexus click menu and choose sorting by key. Then you will see the list of key matched track to track played on the second deck. (choosing sort not needed when selecting "key" in "column" bookmark in rekordbox preferences - it will show key automatic in each sort option next to track names and recommend the harmonic key track by highlighting it green)
