[CLOSED] New CDJ coming soon?

Pioneer released a video about the history of cdj's part one. From the cdj500 up to the 2000nxs. So part two will be about the all new cdj-2500? :-) Most likely the reason for a new Rekordbox We will see...

If the controllers are anything to go by, a new CDJ is on the way.

Instead of fixing the bugs on their existing products just release a new one you need to buy... how am I gonna explain that to the accounts department who recently spent a fortune on the 2000NXS???

Agree with BriChi- there is no new CDJ for a while... Pioneer are proudly celebrating 20 years of the CDJ- it was in 1994 when the CDJ500 came out- some of us were actually around and using them then! :D

controllers are a dime a dozen, every company keeps popping out new ones. Th CDJ-2000 line though is flagship for pioneer, they are only updated with new features every 2-3 years like the 1000's were, at least thats what the pattern leads us to believe

Im talking about their flagship controllers BriChi...

a 'Dime a dozen'?

More like a $1000-$2000 a piece!

ok, $2k a dozen, LOL

but seriously I think the controllers come out quicker but they are for multiple software platforms, serato, tractor, RB, straight midi, etc..... it definitely sucks if you use controllers being it seems like they are popping up all over. For me, i like the 2000s and the 3 year span between I am fine with being it usuallytakes another year for the bugs to be worked out so its really 4 years, lol

<EDIT> If you don't work for Pioneer and have the capacity to make an official statement on Pioneer's behalf, it's a rumour and product rumours are not allowed here on the forums. </EDIT>

Pioneer is ALWAYS working on "the next" product, whether it's a mixer, player, controller, effector, whatever... unfortunately we can't allow any posts regarding these products prior to official release.
