Would be a good if a future firmware would enable the metronome click to sound in channel cue (a la Traktor) when in Grid mode on the 2000NXS.
I thought my grids were spot on, and to hear them loop, beat cut, etc. you would also think so. However, now I've got a DJM900NXS,
when I use the X-Pad I find the beats are not spot on, even with quantize on - I have to adjust the beat grid live on the CDJs and keep trying
the X-Pad effects until they snap perfectly to the beat.

That would be a horrible idea because if DJs have as hard a time figuring out how to turn auto cue on and off, imagine what would happen if a DJ left the metronome enabled and all through the evening the crowd heard "tick-tock-tock-tock-tick-tock-tock-tock"...!!!
Maybe the metronome could be automatically disabled when a new track is loaded?
Also, it would only be audible through headphones?
How would it only be audible through the headphones when the signal sent from the player to the mixer is the same for headphones as it is for output?
Sorry, but I'm going to have to disagree with this suggestion, it's just not a practical feature for a performance unit.
